Punjab's villages need help, but where do you start?
The idea
An open window into the lives of Punjab's young people. Parvaaz surveyed 300,000 students in every government secondary school in Punjab, and this platform puts what they said on a map anyone can explore. A researcher can see how many families carry outstanding loans in each district, filter by gender or family wealth, then add school enrollment or groundwater levels to see where problems overlap. An NGO choosing where to work, a journalist chasing a story or a student writing a thesis can ask it questions in Punjabi or English and trace every answer to its source. The hard part is joining it all: government records spell the same village in different ways, so AI has to match them and say how sure it is.
